Heute Nacht lief ich plötzlich alleine

Da wo 4 waren nur noch 2 Beine

Trotzdem lief ich und stand dann am Wasser im Sand

Gespannt ob die See zu mir her sah

Und ich sah das der Strand nur das Ende vom Land

Und nicht der Anfang vom Meer war

Mein Kompass, mein Anker, mein Ufer

Mein Lotse, mein Leinen-los-Rufer

Wo bin ich, wenn hier nicht mehr hier ist

Wo bin ich, wenn du nicht mehr in mir bist

Jetzt räuspert die Stille sich spürbar

Und ein Fleck an der Wand, wo die Tür war

Macht mein Zimmer so klein, du fällst mir nicht mehr ein

Ich durchsuch' mich und kann dich nicht finden

Und ich bind mir zum Schein deinen Schatten ans Bein

Um für Stunden noch Schonzeit zu schinden
