The current pulls me away from the shore

A subtle sign that I cannot ignore

To wash away all that I have done

To start again like I have just begun

I need an anchor for my heart

To hold me when I fall apart

Keep me from unforgiving stone

On which I wreck when I’m alone

Wouldn’t you run to the waves?
