Sommer meines Lebens - Weekend

Ich hab' die Hälfte meiner Jugend in den Scheiß investiert

Und bis vor 'nem Jahr hat es keinen interessiert

VBT, nur ein Hype im Turnier?

Oder mehr als nur das, keiner weiß was passiert

Das ist der Punkt, wo sich entscheidet wie es weitergeht

Kaufen die Kids die Battles gucken auch vielleicht CDs?

Ich freu' mich wenn die Platte irgendei’m gefällt

Und wenn nicht, dann war das immer noch die beste Zeit der Welt

Wo sind wir alles hingefahren

Ich hab noch nie soviel gesehen wie in diesem Jahr

Am Abend noch beim Gig in Münster sein

Am nächsten Morgen Stuttgart, 10 Uhr Bühnenzeit

Ja und dann seh' ich eben fertig aus

Fernsehen gucken auf der Couch kann ich später auch

Ich hab' Bock doch wer weiß vielleicht war’s das

Wenns so is, hat es Spaß gemacht

Das war der Sommer meines Lebens und wenn es jetzt nicht klappt

Dann ham' wir immernoch die beste Zeit der welt gehabt

Ich hab' gemacht was ich seit Jahren mach'

Und hab schon jetzt viel mehr bekommen als ich erwartet hab

Ich lese meine alten Interviews jetzt, da ham' sie mich gefragt

«Was hast du dir für Ziele gesetzt?»

Ich hab gesagt: «Ich muss nicht unbedingt verdienen mit Rap

Aber das allergrößte für mich wär' der Gig auf dem Splash»

Da stand, ich würde nicht nach Features betteln

Doch das Größte für mich wäre, würd' ich neben Lakmann oder Flipstar rappen

Es klingt vielleicht danach als würde ich hier stehen und prahlen

Doch ich will nur sagen was dies für mich für Momente waren

Ich war aussen vor, ich war ein Fan wie jeder

Ich habe aufgeschaut zu Rappen, aber seh' das jetzt als Fehler

Ich bin ein bisschen weiter, ich hab' gelernt

Trifft man die Helden seiner Jugend, kanns passieren, dass man sie nicht mehr

feiert

Ich hab' gelernt, die Allerbesten, die’s gibt

Das sind die Jungs neben denen ich sitz'

Jedes mal viele Stunden auf den Wegen zu Gigs

Das ist für euch, wir ham' jeden gefickt

The next morning Stuttgart, 10 a.m. stage time

Yes, and then I just look exhausted

I can watch TV on the couch later

I'm up for it, but who knows, maybe that's it

If so, it was fun

That was the summer of my life and if it doesn't work out now

Then we still had the best time in the world

I did what I've been doing for years

And I've already got a lot more than I expected

(yeah!)

I'm reading my old interviews now, because they asked me

«What goals have you set yourself?»

I said: «I don't necessarily have to earn money with rap

But the biggest thing for me would be the gig at the Splash»

It said I wasn't begging for features

But the greatest thing for me would be rapping next to Lakmann or Flipstar

It may sound like I'm standing here and bragging

But I just want to say what those moments were for me

I was outside, I was a fan like everyone

I looked up to rapping, but now see that as a mistake

I'm a bit further, I've learned

If you meet the heroes of your youth, it can happen that you don't see them anymore

I've learned, the very best there are

These are the guys I'm sitting next to

Each time many hours on the way to gigs

This is for you, we fucked everyone
