Sometimes it’s not me, it’s just a vague fear

And a bleeding doubt that haunts me

It takes me over, gets me all out of control

That’s when I give it all

And still I face the wall of your defenses

Sometimes I’m willing, to drift and wander

In the shadow of this feeling

Right out of balance, like a kite without a tail

If it could only avail

When all attempts do fail to break the fences

But all my hopes are trains

On condemnation’s rails

Steaming through the pain

I only seem to feign but never heal

Tried so hard in vain

Failed time and time again but now I feel

This is the final call

It won’t be easy to start a new life

Burying past times, burning bridges

Against the icy winds of sorrow and dismay

It won’t be easy but this is the only way

I have to deal with this
