Этот дом дышал тобой

И хранил твое тепло.

Как-то все само собой

Сквозняками унесло,

Растащило по углам,

Разметало в пух и прах…

И с обидой пополам

Поселился в доме страх.

А потом была зима.

Дом качался на ветру,

От тоски сходил с ума,

Все твердил: «Умру, умру».

Лифт взмывал на этажи…

Стены были так тонки,

И вонзались, как ножи,

Посторонние звонки.

А еще была мечта,

Что однажды ты придешь.

Разным прочим не чета

Дом, в котором ты поймешь,

Что дышал одной тобой

И хранил твое тепло

Как-то так, само собой.

Впрочем, это и спасло.

And kept your warmth
