Wochen lang schon fort, ohne Rauch und ohne Wein

Der Magen, der ist leer und der Trieb nicht gerade klein

Doch dieses Schiff am Horizont hat sicherlich nen Schatz dabei

Ob Wein, ob Frau, ob Rauch, ob Gold, das ist uns einerlei

Den Kurs gesetzt, auf Kaperfahrt, die Säbel blank poliert

Wer meint, er muss sich wehrn, dem wird die Haut heut subtrahiert

Doch kaum fliegt unser Enterhaken tut’s einen Kanonenschlag

Vom Bug des anderen Schiffes rein in unsern schönen Kahn

Wenn es was gibt, was wir auf dieser Reise lernten

Wer Wind sät, wird Sturm ernten

Wir wissen jetzt, was Rauben ohne Gnade heißt

Und, dass der Teufel immer auf den größten Haufen scheißt

Der Goldzahn eines Greises blitzt uns dreist in das Gesicht

Ihr seht zwar teuflisch aus, doch mein Gold bekommt ihr nicht

So feuert er noch einen Schuss, zerlegt uns unseren Achtermast

Ihr stehlt nicht von der Obrigkeit, das hätt euch so gepasst

Been gone for weeks with no smoke and no wine

The stomach is empty and the drive is not exactly small

But this ship on the horizon certainly has a treasure with it

Whether wine, whether woman, whether smoke, whether gold, it doesn't matter to us

Set the course, go on a raid, sabers polished bright

Anyone who thinks they have to defend themselves will have their skin removed today

But as soon as our grappling hook flies, it does a cannonball

From the bow of the other ship into our beautiful boat

If there is anything we learned on this journey

Who sows the wind will reap storm

We now know what stealing without mercy means

And that the devil always shits on the biggest pile

The gold tooth of an old man boldly flashes in our faces

You may look devilish, but you won't get my gold

So he fired another shot, dismantled our aft mast
