Lass‘ sein die Suche und entrinne dem Joch dich sehnend gemacht

Jedes höhere Ziel ist mir gar zu viel entsprung‘ne Fantasterei

Fiebrig Illusion der Wahn von Million‘ lass‘ zieh‘n derlei Tand und sei frei

Verschwend‘ doch dein Geld nicht auf langer Reise für Bildung Kultur oder Kunst

Wie viele haben schon auf diese Weise voll Vernunft sich das Leben verhunzt

Die Moral über Bord jedes mahnende Wort schadet deinem irdischen Wohl

Bist ein ganz freier Mann ist dein Heil sodann käufliche Liebe und Alkohol

Und so taumel ich zwischen meinen Begierden ein Leben Paradies
