Alguma coisa onde tu parada

Fosses depois das lágrimas uma ilha

E eu chegasse para dizer-te adeus

De repente na curva duma estrada

Alguma coisa onde a tua mão

Escrevesse cartas para chover

E eu partisse a fumar

E o fumo fosse para se ler

Alguma coisa onde tu ao norte

Beijasses nos olhos os navios

E eu rasgasse o teu retrato

Para vê-lo passar na direcção dos rios

Alguma coisa onde tu corresses

Numa rua com portas para o mar

E eu morresses

Para ouvir-te sonhar

Something where you stop

Fosses after tears an island

And I arrived to say goodbye

Suddenly on the curve of a road

Something where your hand

Write letters to rain

And I went to smoke

And the smoke was for reading

Something where you to the north

Kiss the ships in the eyes

And I ripped up your portrait

To see it pass in the direction of the rivers

Something where you run

On a street with doors to the sea
