Жить - Вертикаль

Я был опять убит во сне,

Я убегал, но пули слов чужих летели в спину мне.

Я видел свет, там, в высоте,

Но солнца — больше нет его, давно распяли на кресте.

И страх холодную рукой душил меня,

Страх не давал открыть глаза…

Их фразы, словно приговор:

«Его спасти нельзя».

Я падал вниз, и каждый миг

Я был готов увидеть тех, от кого я уже отвык;

Их голоса шептали мне:

«Оставь живых, отдай себя во власть холодной тишине».

И боль рвала меня на части изнутри,

Боль не давала мне дышать…

В пространстве между небом и землёй

Им оставалось только ждать…

Из бездны лиц и голосов

Я шаг за шагом выбирался, я умереть был не готов,

И, разорвав забвенья круг,

Я понял, кто мне здесь чужой, а кто действительно мой друг…

Боль отступила, страх прошёл,

И вновь забилась пульса тоненькая нить…

Открыв глаза, я понял, что теперь

Я снова буду жить.

I was killed again in my sleep

I ran away, but the bullets of other people's words flew into my back.

I saw the light, up there,

But the sun is no more, it has long been crucified on a cross.

And fear choked me with a cold hand,

Fear kept me from opening my eyes...

Their phrases are like a sentence:

"He can't be saved."

I fell down, and every moment

I was ready to see those from whom I had already lost the habit;

Their voices whispered to me:

"Leave the living, surrender yourself to the power of cold silence."

And the pain tore me apart from the inside,

The pain didn't let me breathe...

In the space between heaven and earth

All they had to do was wait...

From the abyss of faces and voices

I got out step by step, I was not ready to die,

And, breaking the oblivion circle,

I realized who is a stranger to me here, and who is really my friend...

The pain is gone, the fear is gone

And the thin thread of the pulse beat again...

Opening my eyes, I realized that now

I will live again.
