Galgenblüten, ihr seid gelobt

Durch den Strick der Rechtschaffenheit

Am Marktplatz sieht man sie aufgereiht

Dort erblickt man sie, mit festem Stand

Die güldene Schlinge um Hals und Hand

Sie ziehen die Blicke von Heerscharen an

Nach kräftigem Ruck lockert sich ihr Darm

Der Geruch, verlockend und zart

Das Fleisch noch frisch, die Schenkel so hart

Die Blüten, sie laden zum Träumen ein

Von Sünde am Fleische, an Mark und Bein

Drei Tage lang warf man sie in ein Kellerloch

Bis Wurm und Ratte durch ihren Leib kroch

Nahmen hohe Herren sich ihrer an

Badeten die Blume in Milch so warm

Bis dass es tropfte aus jedem Körperloch

Und man sie schändet bis ihr Fleisch vom Knochen broch
