На небе блюдечко луны и деревня ждёт

Когда румяный желтый блин ей крыши напечёт

Вот я в подсолнухах лежу в прохладе вечера

На небо пристально гляжу, как летаю в вечности

За жилмассивом — лесополоса

За ней раскинулся подсолнечный сад

Жёлтый цветок в моих волосах

И жёлтым цветом налитые глаза

Такое пекло хоть рубанком строгай

Здесь не подлунный, здесь подсолнечный край

Там марево с горячей землёй

Хоть сей зерно, хоть могилу рой

Игла выводит жёлтенький стежок

Она рисует солнечный цветок,

А за цветком подсолнечный лужок,

А на лугу подсолнечный божок

За жилмассивом — лесополоса

За ней раскинулся подсолнечный сад

Жёлтый цветок в моих волосах

И жёлтым цветом налитые глаза

There is haze with hot earth

Even this grain, even a swarm of graves

Needle pulls yellow stitch

She draws a sunny flower

And behind the flower is a sunflower meadow,

And in the meadow a sunflower god
