The Plague - Utopia Banished

Feeling the wrath, like an open wound

And so it begins, the time to reign is here

As I awaken, probed from thy slumber

For now I can say the plague has begun

Woe to those, wavering in the shadows

A desperate cry high above the plains

Blood dripped hollowed corpses like beneath the moon

But the fierce yet shriveled souls lurk into the night

Gazing down upon us with such certainty

As daggers show with a withered glow

Feasting flesh in a bloody mess

My soldiers in time, shall lay to rest

Our time (is) too short

And far from long lived

A horrific conclusion

Reflects of the end

My soldiers have been slaughtered

Deprived of their will

My journey towards death

Is almost complete

Scattered all across the fields

Stripped of all embodiment

The endless gates of flesh and bone

Once all perceived a warrior

For miles on, the stench of corpses lying about the frozen ground

Charred and chiseled in misery for now I can say the plague has begun

It’s so cold

The silence thickens

A wretched day of violent rapture

Will make its mark on history

The flames of the end have risen again

As well as our lives our vision descend

To see our fight is long fought but forgotten

Written in a stone (wall) of history

Our misfortunes were sure to come

But we are mere pawns who lay

Scattered from this plague

A night of war to defend

Our homes has been a tragedy

And as the night had set

We had to see the black wyvern has been set free

A never ending bliss

Throughout the humanity

The plague has just begun

Why can’t you fucking see

Here I stand alone

In this confused and glimmering lie

Sin after sin we suffer

Throughout the end of time
