Solbelyst en åker, jag ser marken krypa fram

Skuggan syns där vika bort och flyt

I gladen samlas väse, där ett möte där ett ting

I ringen talas tyst att ingen hör

Sliter du vid bruket som en slav?

Eller sitter du på kanten till en grav?

Går du trygg och säker på din väg?

Eller löper du med besten hack i häl?

När en ny dags morgon gryr

I tysthet folket led och under tystnads sågs de gå

Detta tysta folk skall vakna upp och sanningen förstå

Tysta folket lider, tysta folket står

Tysta folket vaknar upp och sanningen de ser

I öster stiger solen, jag ser himmel blodigt röd

I söder där en slakt och svält och död

I väst där råder lyckan blott i fåtal fina hem

I ringen tysta folket går och blör

Vilar du vid stranden till ett hav?

Eller skålar du med glaset fyllt av drav?

Vilar du på ängen vid en skog?

Eller sitter du som kungen på en tron?

Sunlit a field, I see the ground crawling forward

The shadow is seen there fold away and flow

In joy, essence gathers, where a meeting where a thing

In the ring it is said quietly that no one hears

Do you struggle at the mill as a slave?

Or are you sitting on the edge of a grave?

Are you walking safely and securely on your way?

Or do you run with the best notch in the heel?
