Tweede Dagboek -

Mijn oude dagboek daar mag iedereen in lezen

Mijn moeder en mijn vader en desnoods mijn zus

En ook al zeggen ze van niet, dat doen ze dus

Maar van dat lezen heb ik voortaan niks te vrezen

Want al die dingen die ik aan geen mens vertellen wil of kan

Die schrijf ik in mijn tweede dagboek en daar weten zij niks van

Dus mogen ze wat mij betreft nieuwsgierig wezen

Mijn oude dagboek daar mag iedereen in lezen

Nu een maand geleden kreeg ik in de gaten

Dat mijn moeder stiekem in mijn dagboek las

En daar ook nog met mijn vader over praatte

Nou je snapt wel dat ik reuze nijdig was

Maar toen ik ze vroeg waarom ze dat nou deden

Hebben ze dat allebei gewoon ontkent

En wat moet je dan al ben je ontevreden

Kinderen trekken altijd aan het kortste end

Dus toen heb ik maar een winkel opgezocht

En een tweede dagboek voor mezelf gekocht

Haar oude dagboek daar mag iedereen in lezen

En ik blijf wel in mijn oude dagboek schrijven

Om daar zo maar mee te stoppen dat is raar

Maar alleen nog om de tijd wat te verdrijven

Dingen die een beetje gek zijn of niet waar

En nu zie ik soms mijn moeder naar mij kijken

Met zo’n blik van: Gaat het echt wel goed met jou

Maar ze durft natuurlijk niks te laten blijken

Omdat ze daarmee zichzelf verraden zou

En wat echt geheim moet zijn voor iedereen

Heb ik eindelijk nu voor mezelf alleen
