Der Bettler und das Meer - Tua

Schlaf holt mich am Tag ein, wie jemand, der mir dringend noch was sagen will

Ich folge der staubigen Straße bis runter zum Meer

Nachts treffen sich alle, die ich kenne in meinem Kopf und reden gleichzeitig

Das Atmen ist schwer…

Wie die Zeit rast, weil ich nicht einschlaf', und mich dreh'…

Und der Schlaf fehlt, wie mir der Tag fehlt, weil ich von Sonne träum' unten am

Meer

Zeit geht vorbei, wie ein unbeteiligter Reicher an einem Bettler

Einem Bettler auf der staubigen Straße bis runter zum Meer

Kein Gedanke gibt genug Halt, als dass ich ihn fassen könnte

Meine Reserven sind leer…

Licht kommt durch die Fenster, wie ein Einbrecher der mir alles wiederbringt

Draußen kommt der neue Tag von überall her

Nichts am Horizont außer die dunkelblaue Linie, die trennt

Die staubige Straße hinter mir, vor mir das Meer

Sleep catches up with me during the day, like someone who urgently wants to say something to me

I follow the dusty road down to the sea

At night, everyone I know meets in my head and talks at the same time

It's hard to breathe...

How time flies because I don't fall asleep and I turn...

And I miss sleep like I miss the day because I dream of the sun below

No thought gives enough support for me to grasp it

My reserves are empty...
