C'était un géant au coeur tendre

Toutes les mères auraient rêvé

D’avoir cette créature pour gendre

Car il était très bien élevé

Il était le plus fort du monde

Mais il n'était pas si féroce

La beauté d’une femme blonde

Ça faisait pleurer le colosse

King Kong

De métier, il était gorille

Mais il n’aimait pas la baston

Comme moi, il aimait les filles

Seul’ment il leur fichait les j’tons

Troublées par son système pileux

Émues par ses énormes membres

Malgré son p’tit côté fleur bleue

Le singe n’entrait pas dans la chambre

Il avait un coeur d’artichaut

Au fond, ce n'était qu’un brave type

Injustement mis au cachot

Tout l’monde le voulait dans l'équipe

Il était le plus fort du monde

Nous allions le voir au Grand rex

Mettre une raclée au T. rex

Au sujet de la femme blonde

De métier, il était gorille

Mais il n’aimait pas la baston

Comme moi, il aimait les filles

Seul’ment il leur fichait les j’tons

Il était le plus fort du monde

Mais il devenait dépressif

Quand il voyait la femme blonde

Sortir de derrière un massif

C'était un grand singe au coeur tendre

Qui était poli et courtois

Ayant de l’amour à revendre

Mais lorsqu’il montait sur le toit

Il ne voulait plus redescendre

Il jouait avec les p’tits avions

C'était pourtant simple à comprendre

Le singe voulait de l’affection

C'était un être très sensible

Mais il poussait des grognements

Le dialogue était impossible

Au fond, il cherchait sa maman

Et c’est au sommet d’un gratte-ciel

Qu’il la retrouva finalement

Voyant qu’il était aimé d’elle

Il put s’en aller tranquillement

All mothers would have dreamed

To have this creature for son-in-law

Because he was very well brought up

By profession, he was a gorilla

Moved by his huge limbs

Everybody wanted him on the team

We were going to see him at the Grand rex

Put a beating on the T. rex

About the blonde woman

By profession, he was a gorilla

When he saw the blonde woman

Get out from behind a clump

He was a great ape with a soft heart

Who was polite and courteous

Got love to spare

But when he climbed on the roof

He didn't want to come down again

He was playing with the little planes

It was easy to understand

The monkey wanted affection

He was a very sensitive being

But he was growling

Dialogue was impossible

Deep down he was looking for his mom

And it's on top of a skyscraper

That he finally found her

Seeing that he was loved by her

He could go away quietly
