Is this just a day dream?

I’m hoping that it’s all in my head

Tell me why I’m chasing the sun beams

When once again they leave me for dead

Like watching a repeat

I’m tripping down again and again

Feels like I am tied to the blue screens

They kill me but it’s hard to forget

I write you out a love song

And send it on the breeze

It’s never quite the right one

It’s never done with ease

But it’s all I have

I’m lost in the envy

Can’t see what I hold in my hands

Try and try to get me to unsee

Where I thought we surely would land

Thought I was ready

Take me back to where it began

I can feel these thoughts getting heavy

Getting scared I won’t understand
