Constellations - The Prestige

I am constantly living on the edge of two separate universes

Reality makes me feel like a tourist, fiction helps me feel home

It’s getting hard for me to remember where I come from

The risks are clear;

I could lose control and never be aware again

It seems like fictions are the drugs to cure my life

I’m always on a trip to somewhere else,

The deafening sound of speed is hypnotising me

The more often I leave, the less I can come back;

The stars can’t light my way forever

I’m standing on the separation line, looking at the constellations in the sky

It is so beautiful, but it is scaring me, they’ve stopped guiding my tracks.

They’re shinning everywhere.

My skin is getting numb.

I can see the light passing through my body;

I’m now trying to find the truth

But I’m running in circles

I’m always on a trip to somewhere else,

I lost the sense of time;

I lost the sense of my life

Years gone by in a fraction of a heartbeat

I’m now beyond too far, I can’t come back down

I feel like a ghost haunting this fake world
