The Chase -

The past few days have been so strange

My soul can truly feel the change

The course of events taking place

Lead me at last back to the chase

The chase can take me high as the sky

The chase enables me to fly

But something always comes around

Takes its aim and shoots me down

It all falls into place

And then I realize

I’m living for the chase*

Well they may not understand what I mean

But that’s O.K.

I’m rarely what I seem

For I’m not easy to comprehend
