There’s no reason to celebrate

The best things we’ve done won’t live on

When what we were is gone

When there are no advocates

Of the unknown

Of who we were

On our own

Unless myths are made

As the memories fade

And we loom large in their imagination

And they revive the shades

And wish we had stayed

Here with them on their

Sinking island
