Dead Leaves -

I couldn’t sleep, twisted awake

Im on the bottom, yet feel the wake

Tasted on a weathered spoon and my sea began to change

I couldn’t breath, asphyxiate

I grabbed the bottle, I tried to sleep

I close my eyes, I start to pray

A young mans shadow in wasted space

I see their eyes, my first mistake was to bleed

And then they said,

At first sign I could not reach it

By the end of the night I could not even walk outside
