I saw my body carry your inscription, the sign of thousands to come

A trail of charring fire.

fevers boil my blood

My eyes looked back upon me, pale dim lights down the depths

Echoes through my wastelands of slowly fading perception

A dark serenity descends.

my urging soul, soon released

Process of purity, achieved.

now i am rid of the flesh

Memories of my pagan past: a plunge into the unknown

Like distorting splinters of life in death’s embrace

This fleshbound circle, resolved.

eternal spirit, redeemed

A steaming breath of the one without no name

…who keeps the keys to the gates of death

Laid to rest underneath oaken aeons.

His mouth — a thousand obsequies to devour

His eyes — a million sparks of life to deny
