When I’m falling down

Pick me up and roll a number

I’ll come around

For the comfort of my brothers

In the black

Seeking light can lead to blindness

Guide me back

Through the dark and show some kindness

Caught in traps of our design

Sometimes strength means to resign

Tonight let’s draw the blinds

There’s nothing out there worth our time

We all need to unwind

And drown our demons in cheap wine

If we embrace our our lesser traits without resistance

We can face what fuels our panic and addictions

It’s not enough to mask our broken souls in silence

Just speak up, there is no shame in seeking guidance

When you feel your strength is gone

Arm in arm we’ll carry on

All the pressure takes its toll

Bearing down like cannonballs

Take your comforts where you may

Lift your chin and face the day
