Deep Sleep -

Dug deep in my sleep

I told a man that this is a dream

Then he called me a freak

It’s quite a mystery

When reality is closer than it seems

I’ve been here before there must be more than what I see

When I look inside into his eyes and see me

Right where he is supposed to be

This man and I can see right through my eyes

Into the doubt that keeps the truth locked inside

But I will not be bribed or told to fix my mind

I know that I am in a dream of mine

How could I be so blind

Overcomplicating all the truth I find

A projection of thought has got me caught for the last time

In this moment I can see into his eyes

And set aside the truth from the lies

This man and I can see right through my eyes

Into the doubt that keeps the truth locked inside

But I will not be bribed or told to fix my mind

I know that I am in a dream

I thought this wouldn’t happen

But it did over and over again
