When I closed my eyes I had a vision of the earth that was burning

Imagined that the limbless bodies of those who set it ablaze were trapped inside

The air was pregnant with the stench of their smouldering flesh

As they bursted into flames

One by one

Doom for Doom

Scorn for Scorn

Greed to ashes

Denial to dust

One by one

Vultures striking down

Ripping pieces of flesh from the decay

One by One

Greed to ashes

Denial to dust

One by one

When the the last body was laid upon the pyre

I woke up and stood there

I stood there smiling for an hour
