Sometimes not winning is right

Don’t try to redeem the number of repeats

Patterns are always in sight

Patterns and progress are nice

But if all of your complaints

But every mondern kind

I don’t count that lucky

But you might feel lucky for a while

Don’t look with affection

Don’t try to be sure

There’s nothing to bide that’s not been tried before

Cause when you’re at last on your own

Have been criticized all you have known

And if all of your complaints

Is still all your complaints

You still modern kind

Maybe you’re lucky

But look at what you’re still hanging on to
