Treibsand - Tagtraum

Ich komm' zwar nicht aus Hamburg, melancholisch bin ich auch

Ich schreibe viele Lieder, weil ich das zum Überleben brauch'

Ich hab' und werde mich noch ziemlich oft blamiern

Die Freiheit nehm' ich mir, ich hab' nichts zu verlier’n

Der Boden, auf dem ich mich beweg, ist aus Treibsand

Versunken und ertrunken, es schreie laut, wer mein Herz fand'

Langsam welkt mein Haar, an manchen Stellen ist es sogar licht

Doch ganz allein, ganz allein bin ich deshalb nicht

Bei denen regnet’s, daß bei uns die Sonne täglich scheint

Will ich nicht fragen, gib mir noch mehr Sonnenschein

I'm not from Hamburg, but I'm also melancholic

I write a lot of songs because I need it to survive

I have and will embarrass myself quite often

I take my liberty, I have nothing to lose

The ground I walk on is made of quicksand

Sunken and drowned, it screams loud who found my heart'

My hair is slowly withering, in some places it's even light

But that's why I'm not all alone, all alone

It rains there, but the sun shines here every day

If I don't want to ask, give me more sunshine
