Manchmal mach ich Sachen, die ich eigentlich gar nicht mag

Manchmal geht’s mir scheisse und ich hass' den ganzen Tag

Da steh ich an meinem Fenster, doch mein Fenster, das ist zu

Steck' ich meinen Kopf hinaus — ach, lasst mich doch in Ruh'

In meinem Kopf, da steckt ein Splitter von einem kleinen Traum

Daß der Traum mal voll da war, das glaubt man heute kaum

So viel habe ich verloren, so viel gab ich her

Wieso oder warum, das weiß ich heut' schon lang' nicht mehr

Noch immer hab' ich einen Traum, der bricht mir mein Genick

Doch lieber träum' ich weiter bevor ich unter Euch erstick'

Sometimes I do things I really don't like

In my head there is a sliver of a little dream

It's hard to believe today that the dream was fully there

I lost so much, I gave so much

How or why, I don't know for a long time now

I still have a dream that breaks my neck

But I'd rather keep dreaming before I suffocate under you
