Einmal zu oft - Tagtraum

Einmal zu oft hab' ich mich mit meinen Platten eingesperrt

Einmal zu oft hab' ich Dir den Rücken zugekehrt

Einmal zu viel hab' ich still geweint

Einmal zu viel hab' ich meinen Traum verneint

Und ich weiß nicht, was mit mir passiert, ich glaub ich habe mich verirrt

In meinen eigenen Hosentaschen, woran das wohl liegt, daß es das gibt

Wiedermal lacht die Sonne durch mein Fenster

Wiedermal ist dieses Leuchten im Gesicht

Morgentau bricht Licht in Prismafarben

An diesem Tag brech' ich nicht

Oft bin ich hin und hergerissen, weiß nicht, was ich will

Auf der Stirn vier Falten, wie könnt ihr’s wissen, habt doch selber gar kein

Ziel

Das liegt einzig und allein daran, daß Träume immer Träume bleiben

Und die Welt, die ich heut' anmal, morgen abgewaschen ist und wieder grau und

kahl

Ihr seid so kalt, so leblos und so bleich, im Spiegelbild hab' ich’s geseh’n,

grausam und zärtlich zugleich

Wer hat mir das Licht aus meinen Augen rausgerissen, gibt es hinter der Fassade

doch noch was, was wir nicht wissen

1000 Narben die ab und an noch bluten und die trotzdem keiner sieht

Es gibt keinen Weg, der mich aus dieser Welt entführt

Four wrinkles on the forehead, how can you know, you don't have any yourself

Goal

This is solely due to the fact that dreams always remain dreams

And the world I paint today is washed off tomorrow and is gray again and

bald

You are so cold, so lifeless and so pale, I saw it in the mirror,

cruel and tender at the same time

Who ripped the light out of my eyes is there behind the facade

still something we don't know

1000 scars that still bleed from time to time and yet nobody sees

There is no way that takes me out of this world
