Looking back at Earth

And what are we worth?

Seems so insignificant

But no one really knows

What’s going on

Don’t understand these rules

We’re in the place of fools

Last night I had a dream the bitter coldness

Came back and had me feeling like I’m hopeless

Woke me, I sat down and I wrote this

But I got impaired thoughts and emotions

Reminiscing of the past, it’s out of focus

I got psychosis and time’s the diagnosis

And I know you didn’t notice

Cause I’ve never shown this

Side of me before but I was thinking you should know this

I’m insane

I thought of who I was and then I started feeling pain

Kinda hard to explain but things have changed

Things are always changing and they’ll never be the same

And we’re running out of time

And I got too much on my mind

Got a lot to say, I gotta sum it up in rhymes

Sometimes we never get it through our head that time is limited

If we don’t stop and look at it the time will pass by

I woke up from the dream then I realized

The key to the freedom lies

Within your state of mind

Do what makes you feel alive

It doesn’t matter what the people like

Form up a dream then chase it

This life cannot be wasted

You only live once, so fulfill it while you’re living

Find a vision then create it

Doesn’t matter if you make it

What matters is you made it

What matter is you’re always gonna be an individual that can

Never be replaced in

This pale blue dot in outer space and time

Communicate your message and display it in rhyme

It’s the only thing that’s keeping you from breaking inside

So you gotta keep it going while remaining with your pride

Cause you only got one shot

Close your eyes and you’ll miss it

You gotta be yourself and chase your dream and nothing else

And I don’t care if you’re a misfit

Never worry about fitting in

Look at the life that you’re living in

You’re capable of anything and anything could happen

Keep your heart and your will in it

But I can act.

I know how to go to that true spot in myself cause I’m there

everyday.

I could be me, I could be whoever because I’m true to me.

I could go to neutral easily.

A lot of people, black, white, Mexican,

young or old, fat or skinny, have a problem being true to their self.

They have a problem looking in the mirror and looking in to their own souls.

The reason I could walk around, the reason I am who I am today is because I

could look directly into my face and find my soul.

It’s there, it’s not sold,

I didn’t sell it, it’s still within me, I still feel it.

It’s not really

tricky.

Everybody could do it if they just could go to that spot.

I guess all the things that happened to me in my life allow me to go there

easier
