You smile with empty eyes

You talk about the highest high

Why can’t you be what you’re supposed to be?

Where’s that open door?

Killing & religion that’s why

Whatever you be singin' we ain’t listening rabbi

Wicked mind loving tongue

Bible and a loaded gun

But Jesus never killed no one

Who are you to say what’s holy

Who are you to say what’s pure

You ain’t sitting on the only truth

Tell me where’s the God in you

Who are you preaching to?

You’re supposed to be my equal

You’re supposed to guide my way

Why can’t you put you’re pride aside
