Hacked bodies damming rivers of blood

Skull soft from weeks in the river

Children rot

Flesh sloughs off their bones

Shattered lives sinking

Severed arms hang

Skinned by machete

A pile of heads

Turn away, the long death parade

Class was in, when they threw the grenades

No one to save

School house now a mass grave

Sick, enslaved, scarred mind blocks out the conscience

With pain and fear the only guide
