Das geht an alle, die am Leben sind

Das hier geht raus an jede Frau, an jeden Mann und an jedes Kind

Und ich erhebe meine Stimme bewusst

Und in der Hoffnung, dass mich irgendwer da draußen versteht

Doch weiß ich tief in mir, dass wenn ich meine Zweifel überwinde

Und die richtigen Worte finde noch viel mehr geht

Dann würd' ich wetten, dass ihr mich versteht — mehr als das

Ich möchte schwör'n, dass es jedem hier genauso geht wie mir

Und dass wir endlich bereit sind und soweit sind zu erkennen

Warum wir uns Gemeinschaft oder eine Menschheit nennen

Denn es ist das, was uns verbindet, alle Grenzen überwindet in Harmonie

Denn wir durchbrechen keine Mauern, wir überwinden sie

Und ich vertrau auf euch, ich bau' auf euch

Ich freu' mich drauf euch in die Augen zu seh’n, um zu spüren ihr seid soweit

Bereit wie ich weiterzugeh’n, um zu versteh’n, warum wir hier sind

Jeder an seinem ihm vorbestimmten Platz

Jeder mit der Aufgabe in seinem eignen Leben

Und der Verantwortung über sich selbst und damit der ganzen Welt

Es ist das Große wie das Kleine, wir alle sind das eine

Und zwar ein Volk einer Erde, die es auch nur einmal gibt

Ihr alle seid mir gleich viel wert, ich mach kein Unterschied

Und für jeden, dem’s genauso geht, für den ist dieses Lied

Das geht an jeden, der weiß was es heißt, dass wir nicht allein auf Erden sind

Ihr steht für alles, was mir Heilig ist

Steht für jeden, der zu mir hält und an der Rettung der Welt beteiligt ist

Das ist mein Appell an euch als Menschen, die ihr seid

Und die ihr bleibt, wenn ihr nur Menschlichkeit zeigt für jedes Leben

Hätt' ich eine letzte Stimme, ich erhebte sie für jeden von euch

Die nichts sagen, aber trotzdem alles geben

Ihr wisst um eure Verantwortung für unseren Planeten

Und ich hab da so’n Plan, wenn auch keinen konkreten

Doch weil’s im Himmel wie auf Erden noch Gerechtigkeit gibt

Wird jeder hier geliebt, wenn er nur liebt

Das gilt für alle, die am Leben sind
