Guess I made it to another year…

Finally recovered

the time that I lost so my soul could defrost

adapt to the weather, I rather carry the faults

Made me the person that I am today

all the times that I snuck out and ran away

I was looking for escape, no Love to be found

but couldn’t fly 'til I left the ground

And as I look back, it seems so minuscule

little did I know, was preparing for the interview

now i’m well suited.

had to cut ties

with the loose ends, good disguise tho!

Many days we spent tryna cuff links

the beauty of life, is the rough things

are only momentary, vital to development

so technically, the pain’s relevant

If I could be president, I wouldn’t be

I’d throw a jacket on &peace out

But I got a job in mind involving rhymes

wanna break the hour glass, just to stall the time

I would write lines in class to sprawl the minds of my peers

with a southern drawl, yearning for years

to get a deal, ramen noodles for meals

now i’m healed with a fresh outfit, this how it feels

shirt on, let me see you put your hands up!

Stoned fools thought that I was gone lose

now you can kick rocks, let me lace my shoes up

Can’t forget about the backpack &my hat

Flying to the moon in my Rat Pack bow tie
