God save us every one

Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns

For the sins of our hand

The sins of our tongue

The sins of our father

The sins of our young

The Radiance

We knew the world would not be the same.

A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.

I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.

Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty

and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,

«Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds».

I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

Burning in the Skies

I used the dead woods to make the fire rise

The blood of innocents burning the skies

I filled my cup with the rising of the sea

And pour it out into an ocean of debris

I’m swimming in the smoke

Of bridges I have burned

So don’t apologize

We held our breath when the clouds began to fall
