Apro la finestra e c'è il sole

Nonostante tutto oggi io mi sento

L’uomo più felice del mondo!

Esco di casa e gli automobilisti mi salutano

Mi lasciano perfino attraversare

La Primavera si avvicina, i panni stesi

I fiori colorati sui balconi delle case

E le signore sono più belle

Ed i bambini mangiano le caramelle

Che bell’inizio di settimana

Siamo schiacciati nella Metropolitana!

Mi sveglio la mattina e faccio colazione

Apro la finestra e c'è il sole

Nonostante tutto oggi io mi sento

L’uomo più felice, e canto lalalà lalalà lalalà…

Dentro il supermercato pannolini, omogeneizzati

Pomodori e pesci ancora vivi

Mi guarda fisso un calamaro mentre faccio il vago

E penso a quant' è bello il mare e i detersivi

Sorpasso tutti col mio carrello

E nello specchio guarda quanto sono bello!

E la cassiera mi fa un sorriso, abbasso gli occhi

Sono proprio in paradiso!
