Когда в потухшие глаза рассвет вдыхал с собою жизнь.

И, проплывая, облака в них отражались.

Я видел как горел восход, я слышал как скулила ночь.

И звезды бледными казались.

Когда огромный желтый ком нахально встанет за окном,

И, так взирая сверху вниз, мне улыбнется.

Исчезнет ночь.

Уйдет рассвет.

И звезд на небе больше нет.

Но крик вдруг в шепот обернется.

Я — свет.

Я — ветер.

Письмо в конверте.

Открой меня: хочу сказать.

Я — лед.

Я — пламя.

Не бойся меня ранить.

Туши огнем, но жги водой, —

Мне все же есть чего терять.

Танцуют вены на руке, и стынет палец на курке.

И заговоры не спасут от злого сглаза.

Безгубый смех безглазых лиц и души падающих ниц

В разверзнутые небеса взмывают сразу.

Я — свет.
