Sam med primitivci stojim

Kolena mi trese in upam

Da ne izvedejo kakšnih neumnosti

Takrat ta mali primitivec pride k meni

Me prime za srajco

Brez zob in z zadahom po vinu

Pred mano grozi.

Nekaj kakor:

«Daj denarja meni, denarja meni!»

«Nimam nič pri sebi, nimam nič pri sebi!»

Nakar, Stipe kolega ob meni

Butast kot tram, a z volovskim telesom

In pestjo kot ta hud dinamit

Povem od katerih postav sm jih dobil

Stipe smejoč jih prime za vrat in prisili

Da se klanjajo vsi.

Jaz pa zraven:

«Na kolena k meni, na kolena k meni!»

Tako, življenje na ulici mimo gre

In nič mi ni jasno, je vse to le trik

Ali je butasta igra za pse

Takrat se mi pred očmi svet odpre

Ko vidim za vogalom, ko šut v ta malo njen bratec zabije in gre

Prej se reče: «Dej denarja meni, denarja meni!»
