Silent voices call to me again

Hidden faces bear the scars of pain

Still I turn from the pleas that draw me forth

Ignorant of who I am

I have always felt there was a truth

Hidden beneath the veneer we see

Yet when the truth revealed itself to me

I denied its existence

Lives behind the veil

Exist within a dream
