Tra il mio disordine ho ritrovato pagine in cui scrivevo di noi

Luci sbiadite e qualche ricordo, qualche sbaglio di troppo

Manco le chiedo «Come va?»

Cambio profumo così non mi riconosci

Sono nessuno e centomila ormai da giorni

Uno non lo sarò mai più, non mi interessa dimostrarlo

Sorrido poco e spesso manco parlo

Sparisco dal tempo, resto qui, un altro giorno muore

Quando fuori piove e tu non ci sei

Non ci sei mai stata e resterai uno splendido «vorrei»

L’unica cosa che non ho mai avuto e che rivorrei

Conservo poesie, null’altro di te

Soltanto poesie e non so nemmeno chi si

Dimmi se c'è ancora per noi un solo giorno da viver insieme

Può darsi che mentire ti abbia resa un po' più fragile

Siamo poche pagine piene di parole fino ai margini

Gli altri che ne sanno di noi, di quando sorridevi per non piangere

Sul mio petto le tue lacrime, non andare via

Ma lo sapevi già, le aspettative non sempre vanno d’accordo con la realtà

Manco te n’eri accorta, sono ancora là

Prestami una penna, metto un punto

E resto fermo qua
