Om bun, deschide-ne poarta

Da-ne o coaja si nu ne goni,

si-n schimb, iti vom alunga tristetea

Cu vesele cantece si ghidusii.

Venim de departe si mergem departe

Tocmai in zare, sus la castel,

Ne-am oprit, aici, pe drum ne-a prins noaptea

Da adapost unor bieti pedestreni.

La castel, maine va fi sarbatoare,

Printesa-mplineste, ani douazeci,

Om bea, mult vin, goli tavi cu mancare

Ce va fi-acolo, sa tot petreci.

Noi vom canta, noaptea intreaga,

Oaspetii veseli vor dantui,

Si-n toiul petrecerii, prag de o clipa

Om bun, si la tine, ne vom gandi.

Deschide poarta si da-ne o coaja

Ai mila de niste bieti perestreni

Vesnic pe drum, asta ni-i soarta,
