These dry and empty eyes

Unaware of being dragged towards the future

Far from ground and still rising,

but not towards the sun

Orbited by fear they are weightless

They’re not trusting their senses, but what they hope for

Craving the earth’s crust with a hope to stay

Oh, my gravity has saved me from lunacy

Created by this illusion no one has seen

in two thousand years and counting

As crowded as the clouds are now, they might as well fall down

When millions hit the ground

give gravity the crown, but you can keep the thorns
