Дьявол я, или пророк?

Гений темных предсказаний,

Эхо вещих снов.

Вниз лицом на земле

Я лежал бы сотни лет,

Скован ненавистью к небу,

К самому себе.

Время войн, катастроф,

Я читал по картам снов.

И на грязных площадях

Я взывал к толпе.

Но пророк для людей

И колдун, и лицедей.

В их глазах я видел страх-

Страх душой прозреть.

Небо и земля

Созданы не нами,

Жизней прожитых

Нам не изменить.

Завтра и вчера

Связаны веками,

Как начертано,

Так тому и быть.

Я один... Навсегда.

Так жесток небесный дар

Было незачем рождаться

В грозовой ночи.

Знать бы мне лишь одно:

В мире ослепленных тьмой

Может солнцем показаться

Пламя от свечи.

Небо и земля

Созданы не нами,

Жизней прожитых

Нам не изменить.

Завтра и вчера

Связаны веками,

Как начертано,

Так тому и быть.

Дай родиться вновь не из огня.

Дай родиться из воды и света.

Жить, не зная боли и проклятий

И не зная завтрашнего дня.

Жить, не ведая иных миров.

Жить, и не просить у них ответа.

Я безумен, отпусти меня.

Дай же мне родиться, боже, вновь!
