Er tobt über den Wäldern, lässt dich zittern und erstarren,

Sein Atem reißt dich hoch hinauf und lässt dich wieder fallen

Ein Stoß zerreißt die Stille, selbst der Atem bleibt dir stehn.

Doch dies, es ist sein Wille, so wird es weitergeh’n.

Er tobt über den Häusern und zerbricht was ihm missfällt.

Der Sturm kennt keine Gnade, er ist der Naturen Held.

Der Druck auf dich wird größer und du fühlst dich

Wie ein Kind, du zitterst wie ein Blatt in der Ebene

Vor dem Wind.

Der Sturm er tobt,

Der Sturm er schreit, er kreischt,

Der Atem peitscht,

Und nichts mehr, was noch übrig bleibt

Du fühlst die Hand,

Die dich in deinen Nacken greift,

Es ist der Sturm,

Der Windstoss treibt dir Stämme und die Erde hinterher,

Der Kreisel er kommt näher und der Ausweg bleibt versperrt,

Du spürst am Leib die Kälte, die der Sturm mit sich bringt.

Ein Schauspiel, das du weder erfühlen noch erahnen

Konntest bevor du sie verspürtest diese großen Qualen,

Du hattest keine Chance, warst von Anfang an verloren,

Des Allmächtigen Hand, sie hat sich gegen dich erhoben.
