While the oppressive forces alter

Back and forth between left and right

We’re caught in the middle

Between a rock and a hard place

Raise their own salaries

Increase the gap of social standards

Between themselves and the people

They’re supposed to represent

Someone please explain!

Tell me where’s that welfare-state

That they speak so highly of

Do we need more people living on the streets

Before they’ll open up their eyes?

Chose between the lesser of the two evils

Vote for none of the above

Do we really have a choice anyway?
