On seas of consciousness

Slowly blinking back to life

Encircling the iris

Lucidity as violence

Visual axis blurred

Orbital muscles spasm

Misfired nerves

Wading through optic fluid

Corneal curves

Are these hallucinations

Unconscious thought

Inherited psychosis

Or just distraught

Paralyzed post-overdose

My yes begin to glaze

Dripping with mbalming fluid

Denatured pre-cremation

Abstraction of the optic fibers

Inside of the flame

Like fractal fragments filtered

Through a melting hourglass

A grave illusion, vision distorts
