Scheint ich fing gestern mit Rap an.

Heut Räume voll Leuten

Die mir an meinen Lippen häng macht Sinn seinen Träumen zu folgen

Ja und nein, mein Traum bedeutete Erfolge und Freude

Genau wie Misserfolge und Fehltritte, die ich bereute

Aber zum Glück war meine Seele für den Teufel nie käuflich

Deshalb blieb ich lange genug da, um meine Träume zu deuten

Träume sind nicht Erwartungen, denn die enttäuschen ein' häufig

Träume sind nicht Ziele, beim Ziel ist die Bedeutung eindeutig

Träume sind spirituell, doch viele Leute nicht gläubig

Heute hier — in dieser Welt wird es am deutlichsten deutlich

Für einen deutschen Rapper, der augenscheinlich für die Deutschen nicht deutsch

ist

Davon träumte Musik zu machen, ca 1990

Viel laut dachte, nie aufwachte und so läuft es bis heute

Manchmal frage ich mich, ob das alles echt ist oder ich träume

Ist das ein Traum?

Oh ja ich hoffe das, dass das alles kein Traum war

Und wenn ja bin ich nicht aufgewacht

Denn es fühlt sich wie ein Traum an

Ein Traum bei Tag, ein Traum bei Nacht ja mein Job ist traumhaft

Und trotzdem hab ich ein Trauma glaub mal dran — tausendfach

Ah, ich bin ein Träumer, Träumer der seine Träume träumt

Lieder macht, damit sich die Leute freu‘n — ich hab neun und neun

— zig Probleme und ´ne Schreibblockade ist keins davon

Und ich will die Leute zum Träumen bringen, hier mit meinen Songs

Viele setzen auf Fakten und geben ihren Träumen keine Chance

Und viele Traumtänzer tanzen, doch verlieren die Scheißbalance

Viele haben schon viel zu lang geträumt und zu viel Zeit verloren

Vielen dank, dass ich dafür mit meinen Träumen weiter komm

Denn ich hab mir schon vor langer Zeit geschworen

Ihr könnt meine Träume nicht killen, solange ich diese räume hier füll

Dass langsam ein deutliches Bild

Sie checken es häufig nicht, lachen dich aus

Verteufeln dich, enttäuschen dich —

Seems I started rap yesterday.

Rooms full of people today

The ones hanging on my lips make sense to follow your dreams

Yes and no, my dream meant achievements and joy

Just like failures and missteps that I regretted

But fortunately my soul was never for sale for the devil

So I stayed there long enough to interpret my dreams

Dreams are not expectations because they often disappoint

Dreams are not goals, the meaning of the goal is clear

Dreams are spiritual, but many people are not religious

Here today—in this world it is most evident

For a German rapper who apparently isn't German to the Germans

Thinked a lot out loud, never woke up and that's how it goes to this day

Sometimes I wonder if this is all real or I'm dreaming

— umpteen problems and a writer's block is not one of them

Many rely on facts and don't give their dreams a chance

Many have dreamed for far too long and wasted too much time

Thank you for letting me go further with my dreams
