She found me here

Pretending that nowhere was somewhere good

And I even try spin it now

Like it all was a summer dream

Taking into account

Who I was and what I claimed to know

She never understood there was a reason

I wanted a kindergarten sky

Was it worth everything and everyone we ever lost?

Are there ever happy endings?

Does she know she’s everything that any man could ever want?

I don’t know but I tell you I’m trying.

I slip but I never fall

Those 30 days were like forever

And then I knew what I had was never lost, or found

It never went anywhere

She took me along for the ride

While I stared out the window

Looking in every other car’s reflection

Searching for kindergarten skies
