Sometimes I think about how the world can be so cold

Well I think it’s kinda funny, cause I still think back

To when I use to keep my money in a gunny sack

To when the clothes on my back were my only clothes

Well times have had their ups and downs

But I just keep on walking down the road

Well I find it kinda silly when we try to compare

Our own selves to another when we think it’s unfair

That the grass grows greener on the other side

That we covet what our neighbors use to build their pride

Well I got what I got and that’s all I need
