Parece até que eu estava ali

Aos pés da cruz, vendo seu sangue cair

Um sacrifício feito só por amor

Por vidas que somente lhe trazem dor

Qual a razão, não consegui entender

Matar um Deus que me ensinou a viver

A salvação na qual o homem esperou

Dando seu sangue, Ele nos libertou

Diante da cruz, foi que eu percebi

Que a sua luz jamais irá se extinguir

E naquele mesmo instante

O véu do templo se rasgou em duas partes

De alto a baixo

Fenderam-se as rochas, abriram-se as sepulturas

E os corpos de muitos santos que habitavam

A cidade santa ressuscitaram e foram vistos

Por muitas outras pessoas

Naquele instante, eu pude então perceber

Que da sua cruz vem o eterno viver

Não foi apenas isso que Ele deixou

Deu seu Espírito como prova de amor

Diante da cruz foi que eu percebi

Que a sua luz jamais irá se extinguir!

The holy city were resurrected and seen
